Update -- Duggie Could Use Some Rays

My boy could use any spare rays.....he is not feeling too good and we went to the emergency pet clinic this morning.  He is having tummy/intestinal problems as it turns out.  I was so fearful that it was his back, but the radiograph ruled out any concerns with his back....there were no signs of any problems there.  But when the doctor felt around his tummy, Duggie was very guarded with the touch.  The radiograph showed his stomach lining was a bit irritated...no blockages....all other areas were normal.  So, after getting lots of cuddling from all the vet techs, the doctor gave him an injection of pepcid and cerenim to help calm his tummy.  When the doctor came and talked to me and showed me the pictures, he said that Duggie was being cuddled by the vet techs....the doc told them, they could put him in the crate but they said Duggie wanted to be held.  My Duggie stole the hearts of the techs with his loving!  He has been sleeping since we got home and his eyes are starting to brighten up.  If he remains lethargic or if vomiting/pain continues, back we go.   So, any spare rays would be appreciated!  Thanks.  Dee

Duggie is feeling much better today.  He appears to be back to his normal happy go lucky self.  Seems that the injection of pepcid and cerenim helped him.  The Pet Emergency Clinic did call and check up on how he is doing.  His stomach lining was irritated, from what we don't know....but his tail is up and he is back to his normal, I gotta bark at everything!  On the 4th when I took him in, he wasn't barking at anything and his tail was plastered to his rear.  So, Mom and Dad's checkbook is $300 less, but Duggie is feelin' better!   Thanks for all the rays, they work!  Dee

Many rays on their way to Duggie....poor baby!  Did they say what could have caused the irritation?  Thank goodness there were no blockages.  Duggie is so sweet and beautiful, it's definitely no surprise that he stole the vet tech's hearts.  Get some rest sweet boy and feel better real fast!

Sorry I missed the initial post, but so glad to hear he is on the mend!  I have to be honest and say that Master Robinton has totally enthralled a vet tech where we go, and if she is working when we go in, she calls out, "Is that my Robinton coming in?"  She would take him in a heartbeat if she thought I would let her!

Say, maybe Duggie's cure would help DD...?

What a relief it is to know that Duggie is back to his old self.   Sarge would have such a hard time keeping those monster mowers in check all by himself if Duggie is feeling to sick to help out.  Whew!  Thanks for the update.
