Greetings!  We'll see if I can do this or not.  Keep in mind, I do snapshots--not real photographs, but they still serve to show our pups in everyday situations.  As you can see, Sophie is getting more white in the face...

Dee Dee and Hallie

These made my day. She still has the precious Princess face she did as a puppy, she is the most adorable little thing with those wavy ears and big eyes. She looks wonderful and she doesn't have that much white! Has such a happy look. I still will often think how great it would be if we could get the girls together and see if there is any spark of recognition there. Sam is a very handsome boy also he looks so healthy and happy. Post pics anytime I love it! Give Sophie a hug for me ok.

I started the agility for Sophie--she wanted SO badly to play a game outdoors or just DO something, and because she IS part mountain goat, we went with agility.  Rich agreed that it would be a good thing, and assisted in making our own equipment (except for the tunnel, which is a used Disney Princess (of course!) play tunnel bought off of ebay.  Even Stormy would walk through the tunnel!  Sam is a bit scared of it (he can be a little flighty), but is learning quickly.  Sophie LOVES the tunnel.  She is a big show-off if I open it in the living room in the winter.  Her "box" is an old pop-bottle crate sanded & painted.  Her jumps started off as just a piece of PVC, but we soon raised them 1 inch.  I always either put them together for a long jump or separate enough so that there's room to gear up for the jump.  You don't want a "kerplunk-kerplunk" thing going on.  You've got to let them keep the "line" long--making a longer, not as severe arc.  There is an A-frame, not pictured.  A 10-inch board with slats for footing, hinged as an A, ours is held steady by a rope, but there are many ways to stablize it.  Sophie likes the A-frame 2nd to the tunnel.   We have made PVC weave poles, but are now trying orange sticks stuck in the ground.  Weave is the hardest to learn it seems.  I'll think that she has it, and the next time she'll be like "wow, I've never seen this before".  Either way, bottom line is that Sophie & I have our own little "agility club" and we go out to the yard of a nice evening and do these things together for about 20 min to 1/2 hour.  It bonds and draws us even closer.  The end of the session is when either party loses interest or becomes uncomfortable.  At the end of each session, we go sit in a yard chair, and I hold her and tell her what a beauty she is.  It's good exercise, good bonding and her vet complements her on her "hip musculature" (it's superior).   It has worked well for us. :)  And best of all, Sophie would say the same!

Oops--almost forgot Dee-Dee--I do show her things like the Christmas Card with Hallie on them.  And YES, someday, it would be great to get these two together, but we are never that far west (maybe we'll have to just make it happen sometime).  We'll go to North Dakota this year.  I bet they would remember each other just fine!
I'll hug my princess for you, when I get home tonight...:)

I loved reading about the agility games. What a good girl!! She sounds so smart. Hallie and I took an agility class a few years ago for something to do in the winter and all I let her do were weaves and tunnel but like Sophie she loved the tunnel...we'd be heeling and she'd suddenly break heel and tear off to the tunnel, race through it, and then to me and fall right back into heeling. She'd have me rolling. It really shows me how much she's slowed down now, compared to Sophie, Hallie would never feel like running an agility course even once now.  :dontknow: I'm just so happy Sophie has such a wonderful life and it's apparent she's made your life more wonderful too!

I do hope it works out one day to get the girls together I agree I will bet they would recognize each other! That would be something to see.

Delia and girls

Definitely a must to get these 2 girls together. I, too, bet they will remember each other. Sophie really does sound like a happy, active little girl. Her personality comes through in the pictures.

Beautiful pictures of Sophie and Sam.  My Winston just turned 5 and he is already showing the white around the bottom of his little chin and a little bit on the sides.
