I can't believe she did it again...

On Monday night my momma was squatted in front of her tv shelf and when she stood up, there went her knee... Yep, nice one momma... :apls: She did put her brace on cuz she says she can't afford the doctor right now, so we are hoping dat it gets better really soon... :xfinger: My daddy hasn't been working much lately cuz of da weather, can you believe it is still snowing!!! Last night we got about 3-4 inches and it's still coming down...

So, keep your :xfinger: dat my momma's knee heals.... It is da same one she had surgery on 6 years ago.... Dat doctor said something then about *gulp* knee replacement... I sure hope not.. I am too lazy right now with all dis snow to be a nurse... But, good ol momma absolutely refuses to go see the doctor unless it gets worse... She told my daddy absolutely not... Dey are so silly sometimes... :verdict: Hugs to all our friends... Lub~ EmmyLou

dis is Parker: you needs to tell your Momma to go to da vets. Dey make us go aw da time. Da vets will fix her up weal good, and maybes get her shots updated too.

We´re so sorry to hear about your poor Mum and her poorly knee. Perhaps you could drum up a bit of energy to use a good doctor´s trick - apply all the heat of your body with all the love you can directly to her knee to help soothe the pain, she will really appreciate it, we´re sure. Healing warmth coming your way from the Mediterranean - we were too hot walking this lunchtime and will have to do our 10kms each day at 06h30 from now onwards.....we´d love some of your snow, if you have any to spare.

Oh my! I hope your momma takes care of herself! That is no good at all to have a bad knee or pain like that.

Thanks to you all... The knee is pretty much healed... Probably not properly (since I don't like Dr.'s), but feels better... lol This is good, since I am job hunting again.. It seems as though Shriner's has been extremely backed up and we are now looking clear into August at Katelyn's back surgery.. UGH!!! So, I quit my job to take care of her & home school her for absolutely no reason right now.. lol She decided she didn't like home schooling and went back to school... No surgery until August (instead of March..) NCIE!! So, it's back to work for me for a few more months.. I really am looking at going to college soon.. I don't like feeling like I am stuck & I have wanted to go to college for a few years now.. It's time to take over my life & make something of myself & what I know.. Although 34 seems a little old to me.. lol But, guess I'll see how it all works out..

I'm sorry Katelyn's surgery keeps getting pushed back! That has to be frustrating!! I'm going back to school too at the end of this month. I'm studying medical transcription and will be done by next December. What are you thinking of studying? Good luck with whatever you choose and on the job hunt.

Tara, I am sorry to hear they have pushed back Katelyn's surgery. 34 is definitely not too old to go back to College. I think that is wonderful!!! Good luck in whatever you decide!!

I am glad your knee is feeling better but you did NOT need that! Ouch. If it's not one thing it's a dozen others sometimes isn't it. Keep babying it until it feels normal again I too hope no knee replacement is in your future.
