They Came..We Chased..We're Tired

Sarge N Duggie here: It's OFFICIAL.....the Monster Mowers are back! We saw them from the living room window....we started barking but the monster mowers were still on the far side of the school yard. We kept running from the window to the back door demanding to be let out but Mom and Dad said no we had to wait until the monster mower was on our side of the school yard. The moment finally arrived....we charged outside running and barking......and then they finally got to our house! We chased and chased and barked and barked! I, Sarge, ran the fence line and barked, wagged my tail until the monster mower stopped and chatted with us for a bit! Then, I, Sarge, after our visit, let Duggie do all the runnin' and barkin'......I sat down and watched. I'm a bit outta shape from the winter.....and besides that, I'm the "old man" of the house when it comes to furkids! I, Duggie, ran, and barked, and wagged my tail and when the monster mower wouldn't listen to me and went away from the fence, I pawed the fence and made it rattle! If I could have gotten through that fence, I would have!!! We'll get in shape as the year progresses! We have been nappin and after posting this, we plan to take a looooonnnnnnnnnng nap! We was so excited that we didn't even eat breakfast! It'll even be more fun when Mom and Dad get the walkway poured by the fence line (where the black fabric is).....they are going have put in a cement walkway for us! Easier to run on!!!! Here are two piccies of us......Mom and Dad will take more as the season progresses!!

We´d be too excited to eat too! A cement runway will keep your nails really short and all that exercise is sure to make you skinny too, does the monster give you any treats or do you scare him away? We´d love to have a nice green garden like you guys instead of a terrace overlooking the sea, bet that freshly cut grass smells wonderful and works up a good appetite. Enjoy, pals!

No treats just a hello! But, we give treats to the monster mower guys.....as the season progresses, we give the guys homemade cookies and cinnamon rolls along with the usual pictures that Mom and Dad take! We're the talk of the shop at the School District office.......the guys always tell stories about us! We're excited to get the cement walkway....Mom and Dad have to schedule someone to come out and do it cuz Mom doesn't want to tackle that project! And, we loves the smell of freshly mowed lawn! But, a view of the sea would be wienerful too!!

Mum says cinnamon rolls sound scrummy, can our Dad, Miguel, come and run for you and get some? We don´t get to run after green trimming monsters, but we do try and catch seagulls from our terrace and rabbits and partridge on our lighthouse walk. Sounds like your Mum & Dad are very busy for two "retired" people...

Last night I was thinking about the Monster Mowers and had a feeling this would be the day they would show up. Schatzi saw her first monster mower last week when Randy was running the track at a nearby middle school. She was more fascinated than anything. Of course, it wasn't right up at our fence!
I'm glad you have the official sign of Spring now and can look forward to warmer weather.
