The antibiotics are kicking in feel a little better all the Rays have helped the most I'm sure thanks. Now I hear we are to have 20-30% more rain headed our way all this weekend and part of next week. Then it will be HOT so will have to get up extra early to walk the fur kids.

Glad you are doing a little better and not going the wrong way. Take it easy with yourself until you are all better! Sounds like cruddy weather coming too. Too bad Buddy isn't old enough to get his license and could drive his little sister around while Mom is recupperating.  :thumb: Hang in there this too shall pass..

That sounds just miserable, I am so sorry you are sick with this. I hope you heal 100% soon! The no sleep makes things that much harder to deal with. Yes a hot toddy and a warm puppy sound like a great prescription!! How is hubby doing? Buddy and Patches are going to have to run the household if the two of you don't get better soon!

I'm feeling better had to get well to care for things & run back & forth to the hospital since hubby not getting any better,Doctors still do not know what is wrong with his hands and arms seems like they are barking up any other tree they can find.Plaque in his carotid artery's,thick finger nails?,COPD, duh the man is a smoker works with his hands he is a welder. They do not seem interested that both hands & arms are swelled up and very painful and he can barely feed himself.I'm thinking of asking for a second opinion from another doctor???Oh found out my husbands doctor does not see patients in the hospital they have a Hospitspecialest ???( misspelled) is the patient and that is the only patients this doctor sees in patient  that are in the hospital???Do not think I like this Doctor at all he was asking me what I thought was wrong with my husband heck I do not have a medical degree.Still testing???Papbouv

A lot of hospitals are using hospitalists now and a lot of the time it can be a good thing-if you get a good one. My best friend is the chief medical officer at a hospital with hospitalists and it works very well there. It all depends on who the hospital hires.
Have the looked at anything with the peripheral nervous system? That is one thing that comes to mind along with some knd of pressure from the spinal cord. Both would explain the pain, but the swelling is more puzzling. I hope they find an answer soon.
