I get frustrated trying to make pictures the right size

Can anyone tell me the size you are suppose to resize them too old woman self taught computer user and not a very good one at that. Promise I will write it down and not ask again.Papbouv
I have been using     www.resize2mail.com   but never sure what numbers to use I just do it over and over till I get it right and that gets old quick that s why I do not post pictures. Thanks for any help.

I use Microsoft Office 2000 photo editor (I keep installing that on current pc's) as it is easy to use.  I resize so that the width is about 2.25 inches and the heighth auto adjusts.  That setting usually makes the file size just under 100k.  If the pic is much bigger, then people have to scroll side to side to view it here.

Will see if that is on this computer my old computer died I was use to it this computer I have now was my DIL she made it so still working on learning everything on it or trying too.Thanks for you input.Papbouv

The ones I post are around 640x420 in size. That should help you out. It is the size of the bluebird one's I posted yesterday.

We use an old now version of photo edit and it lets you know the Kb so I take it to about 16%. And Mike that is a good photo.
