:meme: CHECK OUT the April edition of Dog Fancy magazine; it just arrived in today's mail.  Our very own Johanna Coover of Calais, Maine, is the featured celebrity pupper of their "Happy Endings" column, on the last page!

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

Congratulations!  Johanna, Paul and family deserve recognition and support worldwide.

Just one problem, I can´t buy the mag. here in Spain and can´t find the article on the web anywhere, I´d love to read it.  Can anyone help?

Thanks everybody. The story was great. Johanna is such a star!

By the way, we do have a ton of snow here. last week the snow pack was about 5 feet, and it is still over 3 feet right now.

Well, I finally got a copy of Dog Fancy and read Johanna's story.  What a bittersweet story, but thank goodness she now has a loving forever home.  Loved the picture.

Paul - Do you ever heard from the kids who bought her the cart?

JOHANNA ROCKS!  As does her hoofamily!
My in-laws are in Houlton Maine.  Actually they were here in florida with me from Christmas until two weeks ago...yeah...that's another story for another time.  They went back to Mooseville just in time for this storm.
There's a saying about summer in Maine.... three weeks of bad snowmobiling!  HA!

Yes, I know the school teacher and have spoken with her many times. Last year the kids in her class all made cards and sent them to us. Kathy Barton and her 4th grade class are the greatest!

Houlton is just 93 miles up the road from us and I have been there many times. The summer in Maine is as wonderful as it is short. We live for the days of sun and 70 degrees throughout the long winter. Summer is just a few months away now!
