I am as blind as a bat without either glasses  or contacts but for the past few years the age thing has kicked in, you know arms not long enough. Well I went to-day to get my eyes checked and with    the inevitable stronger reading glasses to come out with multifocal contacts. I kid you not and I LOVE THEM. The optomotrist put them in both eyes but he thought I might end up with the multi in my dominant eye and the long distance in the other. I must admit the both left my distancea bit so so, so I did what  he suggested and what a diffrence............I can even read the phone book again. Whawhoooooooooooooooooooooo  :thumb:

Roberta, my boss just got the multifocal contacts and she loves them....Congratulations on being able to see again!!!  I just got my first pair of glasses a couple weeks ago..no line bifocals...the arms got too short here too!!!  I am finally adjusting to them but it has been a real treat!!
