FROM WILLY AND ALEX: Our mom is coming home!!!

Mom emailed our Papa Dan and said she is scheduled to come home on March 18th.  That is still a long way off but that is when she could get the good price on a ticket, plus wait for Auntie Mary to come to Yuma from Texas to take over the care of our Gramma and Grampa.  Gramma is doing really, really good and our mom feels OK about leaving her now.  Auntie Mary will mostly takeover as chief cook and grocery shopper as gramma and grampa gain a little more confidence that they can handle everything on their own now.  Mom said that gramma is walking 1/2 mile a day now and is getting those muscles toned up really good.  We are SO excited that our mom is finally going to come home, and so is papa, he said he is getting real tired of his own cooking!

Walking 1/2 mile a day??? That is incredible. Sounds like your mom has been good therapy for your grandma and I have a feeling the trip to Arizona has been good therapy for your mama. I still think she picked March 18th so that Spring will be arriving in Alaska and she can miss most of the winter weather that has been there! Be good boys and before you know it, she'll be home and you can tell her all about your adventures with Papa Dan.

Congratulations to Willy, Alex and Papa Dan!!!  Great news that momma is coming home soon and grandma is doing so well...geeze, I haven't walked 1/2 a mile in a long time   We are so happy for you all :apls:
