Hello all you puppers and hoomans.  I just wanted to tell you that I got to sleep in the big bed ALL night starting on Monday.  I slept straight through, even with my cone on.  Mommy says I have to sleep only under the quilt because I overheat---whatever that means.  I like it because I get to sleep on the veleur blankie and that is a very good blankie to lick and lick and lick.  I can lick for a long time and make squeaky sounds with all my licking.  Mommy seems to get annoyed after awhile and makes....or tries to make me stop but I am very stubborn...Heee heee.  I know that my new sissy sleeps in the big bed too, but I can never find her.  Anyway, I am discovering big beds are WIENERFUL, except....

LAST NIGHT.  I started out in my crate.  This was my choice because I had been kinda naughty.  I knew mommy was mad at me because she gave me a lecture and had this grip on me.  I guess I bounced my sissy one too many times and sissy didn't like it and told me so.  Well, no sissy tells me anything.  I told it to her right back.  Mommy had to separate us.  I just yelled at her.  I didn't bite her or anything.  I was mad at sissy for a little while and mommy watched us like a hawk.  Mommy wasn't too happy when I did a tiny growl AT HER.  That really got me into trubbo.  Well, sissy and I have made up.  I even gave her ears a bath tonight.  I think I'll sleep in the big bed again tonight, 'specially because the sheets are all nice and clean.

No giving sissy ear baths, that could cause an ear infection.  You and Maddie will work it out, I'm sure.  It takes time.  Hang in there.

You might try this Patches sleeps in my bed one night she growled at me I simply asked her if she wanted to go sleep in her crate,No more growls out of her. The big bed is a privilege mess around its crate time if they try to take over being leader they have to have some of there privileges removed that way they know you are the boss.Works really well dogs are smarter than you think you are not yelling hitting, rolling them over and holding them down they just do not get to do things they like to do.

Dats kewl dat you gots to sleep in da Big bed all night!   Sounds like you really like licking.   Dats one fing I enjoy too, a lot!    Too bad dat you made your mama mad an had to sweep in da cwate for a while.   Hopefully you can get da Big bed all night tonight!!

 Oh dear.,... if ear baths cause ear infections we are all in REALLY big trouble around here. :thinik:  Of course that might explain the serious case of SELECTIVE DEAFNESS THAT SEEMS TO BE THE NORM AROUND HERE!  :scratch: BUEALAH?????  HEY BUELAH.... DO YOU HEAR ME? 
NO MORE EAR BATHS!  Oh forget it...to late and I'm outnumbered.

Hey Bonnie, dis is Bella.  I'm da new girl here and I get to sleep in da big bed to.  I do NOT like it when anyone comes near my little space when I am trying to sleep!  Not one bit!  My mama doesn't like it when I grrrrrrrrooowwwllll at da Baby Dog Beatrice but she keeps trying to take up my space.  Most of da time I like her but a girls gotta have her own space!  Mama says I'm gonna have to have my space somewhere other than HER bed.  I don't know what she means cuz it's been clear to me since I got to live here dat da BIG bed belongs to Oscy and Buelah and Baby Bea...and now ME!  I guess we have to let them think that though.... since dey seem to be the ones dispensing food.

Bonnie has come a long way in a short time, thanks to you guys and Maddie. Sandi, you're doing a great job with her. I know it's hard, but it will be worth it when she finally learns the house rules.
