Treat Box 5c has arrived!

I got home from work today to a wonderful surprise sitting on my front porch!  I really wish I'd had my camera because I left the dogs out of their crates today to apologize for my extreme lateness in coming home yesterday, so when I opened the front door, they all descended on the box like it was...well, filled with treats 

The official photographer of my crew was on her way, so I rushed it inside and put it on the floor and got my camera.  This was my first treat box ever, and I got an absolute kick out of their absolute KNOWLEDGE that the contents of that box belonged to them.  Millie ripped off a chunk of the wrapping of the box and took off with it, under the tree, then onto a dog bed.  Finally, I couldn't resist, and took it away to open it for them.    Here's a record of the carnage.

I wanted to thank Karen so much.  I absolutely LOVE the address book-the cover photos are fabulous and I'm thrilled to have it.  I also cracked up at the "House Rabbit Society" mug.   That's coming with me to work!  I can't wait to try the Cincinnati style chili-I've never had Cincinnati chili!  My absolute favorite thing in that box though was those boggly eyed squeaky toys.   They make me laugh every single time I look at them.

How neat!  I was wondering what kind of goody those nefarious bunnies of the Herd had managed to sneak into the treat box.  Looks like your gang was very contented!  (And I bet the fact that the box used to hold Tagalong Girl Scout cookies gave an added dimension to the smells they got whiffs of!)

The Bunny Stalkers sent the squirrel squeaky and the Rabbit House Society mug.  The Cinncinnati Chili is from our tweat box - since we keep a kosher home, we thought we would keep it in the Wiener family and send it along.

Um, Auntie Karen, we're doxies.  WE'RE not Jewish.

You know, I'm the only person in the house with a driver's license, money for dog food and opposible thumbs . . . :thumb:

Kathleen, when we make the Cincinnati Chili we cut down a bit on the water in the directions.  Have you had Skyline Chili before?  If you haven't, I can give you the directions for a 3-way, 4-way or 5-way.  The 3-way is shown on the can.   :thumb:

Oh, thank you!  I opened one of the cans and had it for lunch yesterday.  It was delicious, but I was surprised at how soupy it is.  I'll definitely cut down on the water when I make the packaged one.  And I'm going to use the other can for a dip recipe that's on the packaged directions (I think).

What a beautiful group of Doxies!!  Wow did your puppers ever strike it rich!!  Dose bunnies really know how to pack a treat box!  Karen did good.  Loved all the pics, you sure captured the moment.  It is so fun looking at the dogs enjoying their suprises.
