Berman's Phenobarbital experience

So far so good!  Berman has to take 1/2 a pill twice daily for his seizures. The pills are so tiny that we can slip 1/2 of one in with his Wellness dry food and he gobbles it right up!

We noticed his behavior has changed a bit too. He seems to be more alert and when we set his food down, he immediately begins eating and doesn't stop till it's all gone. IT'S A MIRACLE!!! Normally, it takes Berman about 20 minutes and a little cheese or something for him to eat his food! This has been an issue all 5 years of his life! We've tried every trick in the book but nothing worked. Who knew it just took a little Phenobarbital? 

He has his own account at the Walgreens phamacy - Berman Dog Edwards - and the prescription was only $11 for a month's supply - so that's not bad at all! I still watch him like a hawk to see if he's going to have a seizure but he hasn't had one since we started his medicine on 11/1. I'm hold my breath till the end of the month though!

Awesome news, Mr Berman.
LOL... Franky had meds from the people pharmacy, too & we laughed when the first bottle read " Franky-dog ".  We never knew he was a dog!
Its always wonderful when you can get a pokey eater to eat!
