Hallie's results JUST came in but...

the lady on the phone won't tell me what they said. She said they had just come in over the lines and the Dr has to review them and then call me, and he's behind today so it might be tomorrow. I said I might not make it that long so she'd try to have him call me today. I am scared to death, please everyone send lots of prayers and rays that it is good news!

He never did call. So it should be tomorrow. I am sure I'll just lay awake all night staring at her gads. At least she's feeling great and has no clue what is going on! Thanks SO much for the prayers and rays I believe in them, I know they will help. Mel I honestly thought of driving up there tonight and just sitting in the parking lot and waiting til morning but that wouldn't be fun for Hallie...they are over 2 hours away and when I called them it was 4 pm so they would have been closed by the time I got there.

Rays & Hugs to you try and get some sleep you do not want to miss the phone call Buddy is a talker maybe he needs to talk to the vet if you do not tell the results will bite you in the buttt.He has really BIG teeth even my vet said so good luck hoping for good news.

PS: Buddy is over sized he is about 30" at the shoulder so 91.4# is about right not fat.

Oh, for crying out loud!  Of course they didn't call, they never do when you are sitting on the edge of your chair.  SHEESH!!!  These docs deal with this stuff everyday and for them its routine, but for us its a matter of life or death, and they just don't get that, they have been de-sensitized.  Thankfully I have a vet who does understand where us owners are, and he calls back, no matter the hour.  Try not to stress out Dee, Hallie needs you to keep it together.  Will be waiting to hear from you tomorrow.

This just stinks making someone wait so long for such important results!       What's their phone numer?  Maybe if we all called them up and asked for them to give you the results you would get some response.      I seriously doubt that would help, but it would be funny.    Porky and Bandit haven't had any funny adventures to tell you about today, they are both being rather lazy.       If they do anything entertaining we'll post it right away to give you something to pass the time.    I hope they call you soon, preferably before lunch!!     :xfinger:

I am ready to shoot THEM now. I just called and the lady said he had no notes on the computer so he had not had time to look at them yet but they would call me but she couldn't guarantee it would be today. 

I have about had it with them. I did get her to put an "urgent" on it and tell him I called and am worried (DUH????) but what the h*ll???????????????

Really? What kind of business is this? Was she the office manager? Maybe it would be worth it to say that you will stay on hold and wait for him.  Other than demanding to speak directly to him right this minute what else can you do? It has been long enough that they have had the results. Or maybe they can read them to you. If they say they can't then ask for someone who can. Yes this is very frustrating!!

I am about two seconds away from driving up there myself....it's 2 hours and horrible traffic and I would hate to put Hallie through that to sit at a vet clinic. But if that's what it takes! If my vet were not closed today I would call to see if she could get an answer sooner. The lady on the phone CAN read them she just is not allowed to read them to the client, only the Dr will do that. She said he's been in surgery all morning and is in surgery right now so I'm sure they wouldn't put me on hold. And now...it's lunch time and their machine says you can no longer leave a message please call us back during business hours. how many barriers can one place put up between a worried owner and the d*** answer???????????? This is such a nightmare. I think I'll call them at 1 and tell them I'm coming up maybe that will hurry them up I just don't want to tick them off until after I get my answer because I don't want him waiting even longer just to spite me or something. They obviously don't care about me or my dog if he hasn't even LOOKED at the results yet!

That is plain mean do they have a e-mail we could all e-mail him and tell him to get with it if we all had the monies just all of us show up on his door step.Gee you would think he would know you are getting more grey hairs everyday that you have to wait he should know you by know Miss Halie is your Fur Kid.
