How Long I have been a Part of the Wiener Writings Family: Since December 2007; Mom and Dad and Sarge have been with WW since 2000.

What I do when my Hoomans are away:  Sleep; protect the house with Sarge; sit in the window and bark at any people or cars
Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:  Duggie came to live with us in December 2007; for whatever reason, I went to the Petfinders site and there was a description of Duggie but no picture.  The site indicated that the picture would be posted the next day.  I looked the next day and there was his picture…he looked so lost and forlorn and you could see how sad he looked.  Dave and I truly believe that Looie-Angel guided us to Duggie. Looie went to the Bridge in October 2007.   We were at the adoption center when they opened the doors.  They brought Duggie out to us and that was it…….we paid his adoption fee and home he came with us.  He had been living with an older lady who was going to a nursing care center and she could no longer keep Duggie (she had Duggie since he was a puppy).  Duggie had been with the adoption center for only two days before we adopted him.  He came in on Friday, the post was done on Saturday and he came home with us on Sunday.  His habits and ways are so like Looie-Angel that we truly believe that there is some connection between the two �" Duggie settles in at night in the big bed, just as Looie did; he runs the fence line with the neighbor’s cocker….just as Looie did…….there are so many similarities….he rests his head on Sarge, just as Looie did….
Story that I want to share about my Hoomans:  Duggie says that he has his hoomans wrapped around his paws…….Both Duggie and Sarge have their hoomans wrapped around their little paws….”At your service….”

Hope Duggie has a great day.  Us December 10th birthday boys have to stick together!  (I'm just a little bit older than Duggie, though).

How Duggie found you is a great story and sometimes you just have to wonder how things like that work out.

With the Zs, had Max not passed on when he did, we never would have known their predicament.   The remarkable coincidence was that Max began his final decline at almost the exact point in time when Yamisi had to board the Zs.   Max had lived a very long and happy life, and I think somehow he knew and he chose to let himself go so we would take in the Zs.
