Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share: Oliver is one of those little souls who is a born worrier, a stress head. My sister and mother while away on holiday sent a life sized soft toy of a dachshound for my birthday. Jane had wrapped in to look like a dog, gave it ears tail the lot. Well other than the postie leaving it on the front steps, which meant they looked at it all day. Well when we brought it in Oliver was terrified of it, even unwrapped he kept behind us, to this day he still steers clear of it.
Story that you want to tell about your hoomans: They panic is they cannot find us, ie we slip the fence up the block or we are aslep somewhere and we don't COME when they think they want us

Doing this brought back a lot of memories, we went down to see him in Jan 2002 then Emma managed to get bitten by a tick so we had to keep him on hold till she got better. I still remember him following Nick and Angus that jan afternoon and looking at them longingly. Angus taught him to trust and he stillis a worrier and a snuggle bunny. Ingrid he adored. Ingrids short life, still haunts me, but she had her knight in shining armour .......Oliver. He grieved deeply when she went to the bridge, but we have half of her in Amy and he has his soul mate. We thought we would have had all three, but we have the two with Ingrid watching them both.
You might have guessed I'm besotted.................who else would understand but you all...................

Yes, that was quite the trip down memory lane. Angus was one of the most handsome dachshunds I've ever seen. I'm glad that Oliver got to learn from him...part of Angus will live on in Oliver. Hope he enjoyed his well-deserved day in the spotlight.
