Maria in San Diego

It's with a sad and heavy heart that I come here to ask for prayers for a former member. Maria, owner of the Beastie Boyz, lost her other son today. Apparently, he fell off a cliff in Marin County, Ca. For those that know Maria, you will remember that she lost her oldest son in a car accident a few years ago, her brother last Christmas, and nearly lost her husband to cancer.

OMG! How absolutely tragic. Maria is one of the nicest persons to have passed through the WW board. For her to have to bear the unbearable again is beyond any kind of reason. Our thoughts and prayers are with Maria and her family.

OMG Amy, my heart just plummeted.... I can not believe it. Maria has the upmost faith in God, but this is almost too much to bear. My heart is breaking for her. My prayers are with Maria, Mark and I know he leaves a wife and child. I am stunned and so sad. Please keep us posted on the arrangements. Thanks Amy for letting us know.

This is awful. She was shattered when she lost her son a few years ago, and now this. Its just not fair. I have met Maria and she is such a doll, very loving, beautiful, loves her family and has the strongest faith. This is way beyond what anyone should have to endure.

So very tragic. I've met Maria and Madison and I have been in her house. Such a sad announcement. So sad, indeed.

Thank you to all for the prayers, vibes, rays and love. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday for AJ. I've emailed with Maria once. She's taking it one day at time.

I just can't begin to get my head around this one. Thanks for letting us know when the memorial is, when i first read this post I thought it was an old one someone brought up again about Anthony. I just couldn't believe it when I realized it was AJ!! Maria is one of the sweetest people I've EVER met. Just doesn't make any sense.
