Update on Retta and Baby Ben!

Eight months and counting!  Loretta had an ultrasound today and our little guy is now weighing in at about five pounds.  He is healthy and has a good strong heartbeat!  Mom is still on bedrest and has taken up scrapbooking.  I went up to New York last weekend and we had a shower for her at her house.  We all had a wonderful time and Baby Ben received many wonderful gifts!  My daughter and her husband have an amazing support system of friends who have helped her immensely since she was put on bed rest.  Here is the ultra sound picture from this morning.  He has his little fist in his mouth!  :thumb:

How exciting! I'm glad baby Ben and his mom are doing well.  Its good that she's able to keep herself busy with the scrapbooking since she's on bedrest.  That wouldbe so hard!  Can't wait to see the pictures of Baby Ben once he's born!!

For some reason I was thinking of you and Retta this weekend. I was trying to think of how much longer she had. I know you are getting excited and I'm sure she is really getting excited and can't wait to have a normal life again. Of course, normal will not be at all what she remembers!

That is so exciting !!!  I am so glad things are going so well.... we will all be waiting for the birth !

And, the countdown begins...  How exciting for all of you!  Can't wait to see pictures of baby Ben..                 That is good that Retta found something to occupy her time..   Give the fur~kids a belly rub for me....
