Dis is Maddie.  I tink sumptin is up and it's NOT good.  The gween boxes came out of the closet and mommy and papa are filling 'em up wiff clothes!  They keep telling me that I'm going on vacation.  What is a "vacation" anyway?  I have twied vewwy hard to make mommy and papa expwain what a "vacation" is but they just keep moving fwu out da house putting more clothes in the green boxes wiff carry handles.  I also noted that a whole baggie full of MY fud is sitting on the counter by the fwont door.  FUD belongs in the FUD container (or in my tummy), not by da door.  Can anyone tell me what's going on?  Being a dawg of yittle bwain, I is vewwy confuzzed.

We are heading off on our CA roadtrip for a week.  Miss Maddie will be going to the Kennels at Springdale.  I will try REAL hard not to worry about her.  This place has a good reputation, but mommies still worry.  We'll be out of internet range for a week but I'll jump in when we get back and I'm sure the Roo will want to talk all about her "vacation".

Maddy: Dis is Parker. I think you going to the same weddin as me. My Mommy and Daddy are packing stuff in blue boxes with handles, and I also have a box packed. I think your Pappa is getting dropped off at the country club kennel (what's a kennel) and you and your Mommy are going to a weddin. Don't worry about your Pappa at the kennel - they will look after him real good, and give him treats, and he will have lots of play time.

My old buddy Cooper-Angel  got to go camping with Auntie Karen one whole summer and he had the BEST time every time he got  to go to da kennels!!

Its always hard to leave them at a boarding place.  I have to leave Willy and Alex for 4 days the first week of December, and I am already dreading it, but I know they get the best of care there, and if I book early, they can have a "run" thats something like 6'x3' and they can be together with their blanket.  But still I worry, but at least they are together.  I hope Maddie does OK.  Have fun on your trip.
