I really thought I was done with this side of Cajsa as long as I took reasonable precautions, but I guess I was wrong.  Yesterday evening I left to run a few errands and thought I had everything fixed for a safe time for the girls.  I even left them out in the living room since there wasn't anything obvious for them to get into.  Well, I got home a few hours later to find the hounds (most likely Cajsa by herself, but I'm not sure) had eaten two yellow squash, a zucchinni, half of two yellow peppers and a handful of tomatoes.  Cajsa is allergic to tomatoes and it does bad things to her gut, but thankfully she didn't have the bad poops.  She did however get sick all over the living room.  I had to take the couch and chair covers off, the cushion covers off the couch, the blankets in her bed and her crate to wash them.  This morning I found 4 more spots on the carpet I hadn't noticed last night so I've been doing nothing but washing all day today!  The goat strikes again! :goat:  I think this is the perfect sign for her!

Oh my, oh my you poor dear :doah:  And poor Cajsa :doah:  The only veggies Zoe seems to like are the cherry tomatoes I have in the back yard although she has occasionally eaten lettuce too.  It's amazing what they will eat!!  When Zoe was a puppy, she destroyed some of my clothes...including two bras   :verdict:  and several pairs of shoes......

Cajsa is sometimes called the $10K dog due to her health costs and the stuff she's destroyed.  She loves veggies though.  She will guard (snapping at me even) the trash if I put lettuce in it.  She LOVES romaine lettuce. Go figure!

I think Cajsa knew you were writing about her on here and wanting to be sure you had a good "goatdog" story to tell! It is sooo good to hear from you again. You had just gotten pregnant with Elf when I started on the board. My, how time flies...

Goodness! That is a lot of veggies! We should all eat our veggies like that. I am glad she didn't get the poops but it sounds like she got rid of pretty much all she ate...poor little girl but it sounds harder on you with all the clean up. Cajsa sweetie stick to your dog food!

Better veggies than some of the other stuff you can find in the house!

Well, I am glad it was only veggies rather than something like rat poison (we don't have any but she's found it before).  Her little tummy still wasn't liking the amount of veggie and I was finding the evidence of that all over!  She's back to normal since that eating episode.  No more tummy upset for her!
