Duggie Rays, Please!

Duggie would be most appreciative (as would his mama) for rays tomorrow!  Duggie's ear is still bothering him -- late last night, he started the head tilt and a bit of a balance problem.  So, this morning, first thing, I call and get him a vet appointment.  We just got home from the visit and he goes back in tomorrow morning to be sedated so the doc can get a good look at the ear and what the problem truly is.  He looked in his ear today, Duggie was not cooperative and he did say he saw more dirt than last week......his concern is what is going on deep in the ear.  So, Duggie gets dropped off tomorrow morning between 7 and 8 am, will be sedated and they will do a check and cleaning of the ear.  I'll be able to pick him up after 5 tomorrow.  So, we could use some rays that all will go fine and be all right!  Sarge could use some spare rays......he'll turn on the sympathy act soon......limping, etc.  He did so last week and this week when Duggie got a bit more attention than he did........These two truly believe in equal opportunity for attention!  Thanks, all!  Dee

Our dear old dog, Corky-Angel came to us with tubes of ear ointment, because he had permanent ear infections.  Our vet, Dr. Weisberg, took him in, knocked him out, got out the Water Pik - yes, THAT Water Pik! - and flushed his ears until the water came out completely clear.  THEN he loaded both canals with antibiotic.

After seven years of ear infections with his former (very warm and caring) owners, he was FINALLY infection free!

Rays for Doog-Meister - you'll feel LOTS better.  An' don't forget the eggies and belly rubs for all your trauma!

When we first got Snickers kitty as a turn in at the Animal Welfare Society her ears were loaded with dirt.  So before I took her home to foster I had Dr Cindy give them a good cleaning.  Well, that lasted a few weeks then they started to get filled up again, but this time I cleaned them out and put the medication in for her.  Finally, after nothing working Dr Cindy flushed them again and poor Snickers looked like a drowned rat.  However, that did the trick and we have had no problems since.

Oh, poor Duggie.  Ear infections are so painful.  I hope the deep flushing will do the trick.  Mega rays heading to Duggie  and some additional rays just for Sarge.

Mega rays on the way for our Duggie !!!!   Every couple years Brandy needs a deep clean in her ears - she is one that gathers gunk...

Wouldn't it be great if we could package it like bee poop and make money off it?

DOXIE DIGGINGS!  A tablespoon daily will improve your ability to scent the smallest morsels of food imaginable and make you capable of eliciting sympathy with just one L@@K.  May cause selective deafness and an urge to tunnel under sofa cushions.  Prescription not needed, but a medic alert bracelet should be worn at all times.
