Hey, dis is Schatzi, I decided mamma needed her mind to be stimulated a little bit, especially since she might be sleepy after last night, so I decided to chew right through my leash dis morning. Yep, I hid in da flowers, chewed dat widdle cord in two and just slowly started walking away. Mamma wasn't two sleepy, she saw me and knew exactly what I had done  :dontknow:

Schatzi is really in one of her "adolescent" modes today. That's what I say on the days when she really wants to get herself in trouble all day. I thought I would take her outside and let her walk around the front yard. She was happy and I was on the porch with the laptop.  I noticed her laying in the flower bed, between the flowers and thought she was enjoying the coolness. It never occured to me she was chewing her Flexi-leash. Next thing I know she is just wandering around the yard, but I have no tug on the leash. I picked her up and got kisses, of course. Now she is beside me on the sofa, trying to look innocently at daddy.
The day we moved in here, we had Molly tied up out back for a short while until we got some things inside. Suddenly Molly was free. Schatzi had chewed through Molly's tie out rope that time. We rarely ever tie either one out since we have a fence, but that was when their ramp was being built.
Not I have to go and buy a new leash for Schatzi. I know it won't be too expensive, just in case she gets the urge to chew on it again!

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.
