We decided to take advantage of today's beautiful weather and go for a day trip. We decided to take some of the dogs as well, so we took Johanna and Pork Chop, and we took Buddy the birthday boy.

We also wanted to take the day because after 6 months of being unemployed, I am proud to say that I have finally landed a job and I start on Tuesday. So, free time will disappear for good now!

We went down the coast to 2 small towns, first Eastport and then Lubec. Here are some photos of the trip!

Great pictures.  :thumb:  The scenery is beautiful.  I will have to make a trip to Maine one of these days.  James is just so cute!

Wishing Buddy a "Belated Happy Birthday"  :occasion16:  We hope you got lots of belly rubs and treats.

Thanks for taking us along on your family trip.  Oh, and congratulations on the new job.  Good Luck!

:thumb: Well, there's never a great time to be unemployed, but this wasn't so bad!  Everyone got their feet or wheels on the ground and hopefully all the doggies will help with the dishes!  Any volunteers??

Paul, first congrats on the job.  I understand what you've been going through, for I just found a job at the first of July after being unemployed for 10 months, and it is only a temp job.  For how long is anyone's guess.  The law firm I work at would like to keep me full time, but they are small and just don't know how long.

Second  GREAT PICS.  Loved the beautiful scenery, the pics of the furbabies, and last but not least, Baby James.

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

Congrats on the job. It looks like such a fun day for everyone. The area is beautiful! Baby James sure is growing!
