We had an action packed week last week. We started to work on some of our moving, (FINALLY!!)   then we got a phone call that had us dropping everything and going to be with our family.

Last Monday, my little 6 year old cousin was in a car accident and killed.  Leaving behind a set of great grandparents, a grandma, a mom, a dad, and two sister's.   We are all heartbroken over this and I couldn't even process the news until today.  Her mother is still in the hospital with a broken vertebrae in her neck.   No word on when the funeral will be.

As far as our moving goes, I think we will be all moved in by Saturday night.   We are very excited about the move but it's kinda overshadowed by our sadness of losing our little Kaitlyn.

Also, Porky and I may be absent for a while.  We won't have internet at our new house until September, and I have been having some major knee pain.  I have been to two different doctors and still have no answers.   However, the doctor I am seeing now is at least taking every possible step to fnd out what is causing the pain.   My knee hurts 24-7, sometimes bad enough I can't sleep.  If I bend it, it makes a horrible popping sound and I can feel it grinding underneath the knee cap.   So, next Friday I am going in for an MRI to see if it shows anything.   I almost hope it does show something just so we can figure out a way to stop the pain.   If it is what my doctor suspects, I will need surgery to repair it.  We'll try to keep you posted on that.

Porky is doing just fine.  He does sense my knee pain and has become obssessed with licking it. He cries if I don't let him.  He is such a sweet little guy!  He is loving our new home so far, even though he's only visited it.   I'll be sure and write down any funny things he does while we're gone so I can share them later.

I apologize to everyone for all the posts I'm missing!   Once we get back we'll try to keep up a little better!   My goal is to update you all in two weeks, but I'm not sure how that will pan out.   Sending rays to all who need it!  We hope to be back soon!!

Very sorry to hear the loss of your little cousin guess God wanted her as one of his little angels Hugs to all of your family.
As for the knee bet you have a piece of cartilage broken off and it is stuck in the hinge part of your knee a MRI is the best  way to find out what is going on in there. Most likely would do a Arthroscopic surgery  first to fix it I had all that done Arthroscopic surgery 1993,2003 & a Total Knee 2004.
Hope you get some relief from the pain soon Pain is no fun at all.

So very sorry for your loss of little Kaitlyn.  You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.....I am also praying her mother makes a full recovery.  God Bless you all.

Congratulations on getting all moved in this week...that is wonderful.

I hope the MRI gives you some answers.  Having a bum knee is no fun at all but it does sound like you have a great nurse in Porky Pie :apls:  I hope you can get it taken care of quickly (my husband had arthroscopic surgery on his knee and it was wonderful) with minimal surgery.

Don't worry about missing any posts....we understand totally!  Take care.....hugs and kisses to you all.
