on the 25 we got the keys and moved all the STUFF from my mum's, still think we have lost a box. We stayed the nights at the new place Nick was a bit off put but his mum said not to be a stick in the mud
keith the sort of earth mover did a great job flattening the area around the house. But he worked the whole of Friday and I duh opened all the doors, so come Sunday it took me 1 and a half hours to wash the tiles. the pair had a great time its only this week -end they realised it was THEIRS. This week-end we took the furniture up and we got seats to sit on etc

we bought a 20 yr anniversary and move in gift to each other a 40 inch LCd so the other telly is to go in the bed room but Amy seems to have claimed it!!!!!!!
Nick launched himslf into a chair and it broke, fortumately it came with new legs, but the look on Olivers face is priceless

Gorgeous new home!  I love all the tile and that stove and oven....... green with jealousy.  I see a pupper has appropriated the BIG tv already.  "Mum, only Animal Planet on this baby."

Wow! Wowowowowowowowow. How many W's does my keyboard have to do a few thousand more "wow's". GORGEOUS! Those 2 puppers are so lucky! If Kari gets the kitchen...can Hallie and I have the view??  :thumb: You guys have worked so hard and it's finally pay off time! The broken chair pic is hilarious...yes Oliver doesn't need to say words to let us know what he is thinking. Congratulations you guys this is a WONDERFUL place. What a beautiful place. That sunrise would make me want to get up early in the morning. I love how the wee ones have found their sun spots already! Were you off work last week so you had time to enjoy it?
Meghan and I were missing a box of clothes for a month until I decided to look in the attic. Seems Randy had put them up there when he was trying to get everything out of the way. Now if I'm missing something (like a couple of pairs of shoes), I have a feeling that is where it might be, but it is just too hot to go look right now! The box will probably turn up at some point. If not, you can always go shopping!

Thanks all, we did not take the week of we decided to get everything away and sort of sorted then at the end of August take a break up their, there still is a ton to do, but its nice things eg garden and blinds.
My kitchen I've hung out for years for and the fridge 20yrs, the monsters are not sure about the tiles so I will have  to buy more mats or make them, keep remembering things to bring up  like pasta bowls we had it on Sat night in baking bowls.
Yes Dee Dee both quilts are mine the one with the bed on the floor is big, but the one with it made is 2.5 metres square and my favourite.
Nick and I both love black and I've always loved red so I went for it.
The chair we fixed it comes with spare legs, Nick had a sore back and sat down  on it at an angle, plus he has a tendancy to flop into chairs. When we removed the bolts they were rusty so we think it was the original legs and with being transported first from Sydney to Melbourne then to Bairnsdale . We bought the suite on ebay as we both love retro furniture, I don't think it had ever been used as it had no crumbs etc or stains. Out here it was from a company Danish Deluxe well known for it Eames furniture. Nick has to loose wight or he is on the floor.
The hardest is to get Oliver from jumping up and Amy, as in Melbourne we leave everything turned to the wall and I'm sick of it. Amy is not bad as she likes looking out the windows.

Try using one of your empty cardboard boxes to put on what ever you don't want jumped on.  You could  cover it with a nice Contac paper, and it will look nice sitting next to your chair, like a side table.  When you get up, just grab it and put it in your seat!

If it takes up your seat, there's no place for Oliver or Amy to jump up!

Hang in there Nick, we won't let you get demoted to the floor!
