This morning I am leaving for Gatlinburg, Tennessee and the Great Smokey Mtns. National Park.  Hubby is staying home to take care of all the babies.....He has complete instructions.  I will miss my babies just terrible   But I can't pass this opportunity up.....

About two months ago, my girlfriend went to an auction with me and grand prize was a 3 night 4 day stay in Gatlinburg...and SHE WON!!!  So we are off with a couple others..... We will be staying in a 5 bedroom, 3 bath chalet halfway up Ski Mountain....I can't wait....  It looks like a log cabin with two decks, a sauna, a hot tub and a game room complete with pool table....Pure Heaven    I will be hiking with the bears this afternoon....

I will have pictures when I return!!!  We are actually staying an extra night and will be back on Saturday.....
Everyone take care; rays and prayers to everyone for a safe week!!!   I will talk to you soon!!!!!!

:apls: "Now, see dat's a nice hooman.  She doesn't just run off and leave all us puppers wondering, "Where's Auntie Cheryl?  How come she isn't postin' on da board?  What is her deal?" :dontknow:

"O.K., Guinness, we know you hate to be left out."

"Well, Beau, some of us six pounders get ignored.  'Course you don't - you just roll over and pee in da air and everybody KNOWS you're in need of attention.  Or paper towels and 409." :nana:

"Thank YOU for sharing, you little cocktail weener!"  :BangHead:

Welcome to my neck of the woods.  I live in Knoxville which is about 30-45 minutes away.  The mountains are beautiful, but it does get hot and humid down here.  Keep cool and have a great time.  Don't forget to go into Pigeon Forge and do some shopping.  There are outlets up and down the main drag there.

tinkle on it and walk away.

We are only 3 hours away so we can go up there pretty often. We have the best of both worlds here-in the middle of the mountains and the sea. The shopping in Pigeon Forge is incredible! I've stayed in some of those cabins several times. Once we were close to the top of the mountain, a long way up past Ober Gatlinburg, which is the where the skiing is. I haven't been in the summer before, but have been in the spring, fall and winter. Wonder what the bears are like this time of year....
