Wow, Chrissie & Dauber - sorry I missed this!  I had also the pleasure of meeting Dauber at DD's 2001 bowwow.  Glad to hear he is better, and will begin sending northbound rays...

Post from Chrissie this morning -

Around 1:00 am the abscess popped from the inside through a small hole in Dauber’s throat.  He bled some, but not a lot with us watching him and wiping off the blood.  The abscess went completely away, he stopped bleeding and we all went back to sleep (or tried to!).  When we got up he was just like the old Dauber.  The vet said we will keep him on antibiotics through this week and probably another week just to make sure he doesn’t get an infection.  The vet still believes it was an allergic reaction to some kind of a sting whether it was from inside his mouth or stung on the throat.  I am so thankful that he’s back!!!
