What are the things you buy every week for your furkids. (other than kibble)

We always buy a box of Alpo cookies, baby carrots for treats and bottled water (Loki never had another bladder infection afer David C. told me water softener water causes infection)  Oh, of course the brown bottle of Lysol for dog towels and bedding.

what's on your kids' grocery list?

Popeye:  "I yam wot I yam."

Mini dog biscuits, fresh veggies and whatever feels I need to keep me happy.

We always buy "flippie chips" chews and baby carrots for treats.  I buy "smacklepuffs" for Winston whenever we are out because he just loves them and they are a low fat treat.  I am also on the lookout for that one special doggie toy.  When Zoe was "a baby" she loved a tug toy that had a tweetie bird head on one end and a sylvester the cat head on the other.  I would love to find another one of these for her....she was never a minute without it.  If course now she isn't allowed to play tug-o-war with it but I am sure if I found another one, she would treat it like her baby again and carry it everywhere with her.

I get Solly his chew bones, and also, am on the lookout for any toy I think he may like.

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

:cussing: No one likes toys - why chew something designed for it when Dr. Leaky can a) go over to my bookcase shelves; b) pick out a DVD or two or THREE!!; c) Grab a book he might like (this week's victim was "Poor Little Rich Girl", a biography about Barbara Hutton); d) pass them out amongst his cohorts, and spend a quiet evening demolishing stuff all over the ceramic tile floor or Auntie Karen's bed.  THEN lift a leg against Auntie Karen's $150 Orvis king-sized special blanket which has odor-control woven into it and a waterproof barrier betwen the two sides? :BangHead:

They get water, use of the doggie yard, I'm changing their food to scraps and moldy bread, and no more sharing the air conditioning inside my room - they better know how to pant REAL WELL!

Weekly...well lately it's been pred, metacam, tramadol, more x pens, valium for me, vet bills does that count?
Normally the only weekly thing Hallie gets is baby carrots, everything else we seem to buy in bulk and it lasts a long time, kibble (small bags), treats, canned food, chewies...but she does expect her bag of baby carrots each trip to the grocery store. I am also bad about buying her collars and new blankies and toys even though she now has over 120 in her pile...

One can pretty much bet on toys, because Robinton is SO deprived you know, since he missed out on five or so years of spoiling - er, I mean being treated well, and a box of treat biscuits, and a can or two of wet, especially since the nice manager at Petco now gets Solid Gold for Brenda and me and a few others, and maybe every two or three months, some article of clothing that somedog can't do without!

Let's see.....Brokli, eggs, bacon, taters,....OH!  Those are really for us hoomans, but, well, they're for Madderoo too as she always gets the yolk residue (with a miniscule piece of bacon usually) after our breakfast.  Her favorite veggie is brokli, so when I make it, I always save her a piece of stalk.  Taters from the cutting board are nice appeteasers.

Besides that?  Just kibble.  She's on a none grain kibble formula so no extra wheat based cookies.  She thinks it's a special thing when she gets a piece of her kibble as a cookie.

No toys here.  Maddie's motto:  "Toys are for boys."

Oh!  one thing....hydrocortisone for the hot spots.  Roo HATES summer.  Makes her itch like mad!

Look next to Murphy-does that give you a clue?

They get lots of chewies (rawhide chips, marrow bones, bully sticks to name a few), and treats too.  I buy blankies and beds kind of obsessively-I think i presently have 8 dog beds for three dogs, not including their crate beds.  Each dog has at least three harnesses and two collars, and I must have about a dozen leashes.  In the winter, it's sweaters.

:thumb:  Thank you-I didn't take it!  Winston's Auntie Mary is a professional photographer and she comes over and shoots my babies once in awhile.  I'm actually in that chair next to him-he was hiding from Mary's husband.  Murphy's a shy little man.
