Hey gang!

I just had to share our funny from this weekend.
It was my dh's (Doug) birthday.  We planned a cookout & I gave him a set of horsehoes.  He's been wanting them forever.  So he proceeded to build the horseshoe pits & fill them with sand.  Of couse, both "kids" helped & had sand flying everywhere for a while.
The kicker was Frankie.  Everytime Doug would pitch a shoe Frankie would run at break neck speed to the pit barking & going nuts on the horseshoe.  ROLF!!!  We guess it's because they are too heavy for him to pick up & bring back.  It was so funny but I held my breath everytime.  I was just waiting for a loud yelp from him getting hit with one.  Thankfully he can't run very fast.  Bless his heart.  He's just an easy going lazy little guy.  He's definitely found his game though & it's great exercise for him.
I'm just waiting for the neighbors to look over the fence & tell us to shut him up.  He was nuts!
Dottie was only interested in digging in the sand.  She has her own to dig in so when the shoes started flying she was smart & went back to her own sand.  I think that dog would dig to china if I didn't make her come inside.  lol!  We had to hose them off twice saturday; they were covered in sand.
It was a nice weekend & I got great pics of the dogs.  Now if only I could get them loaded in my puter so I could post them.  :-{  Everything like that with my puter is a pain.  It works one time & doesn't the next.  I tried & tried last night. No luck.  Maybe soon.
