Toby-Man Update

Well the good news is that he has been pretty much seizure free this weekend.  Sorry I didn't post before this but my router is not working and so I didn't have internet access at home this weekend.
The doctor did a lot of bloodwork.  Most of it came back fine although we are still waiting some results.  He wants me to track what is happening with him for the next three weeks and then we will meet again to go over it and decide it we need to do additional testing which will require anesthesia.  Due to his past history with heartworm I am extremely hesitant to put him through that.  When he had the ear surgery Dr. M. was able to give him "whifs" so that he wasn't completely out.  Unfortunately with MRI's the need for him to be completely still might eliminate that possibility.  We have a few other options that I am researching right now and I'll share them when I am a bit more clear and educated.  The problem here is that his background is sooooo sketchy.  I do have a sedative for him which I can give him if necessary....thankfully that has not been necessary this weekend. 
I'll let you all know how he makes out.  Thanks again everyone for all your support.

Terri, that's great news that Toby-Man was seizure free this week-end and you have good results on his bloodwork so far.  When you said "most" of the results came back fine, may I ask what exactly was "out of whack"?  I hope the results so far are not a cause for concern  :xfinger: Here's hoping everything else comes back normal.   Also am  that you do not have to do any further testing that requires him being put under anesthesia.  Many rays and prayers still being sent to you and Toby-Man !!  Eagerly awaiting more results and other options.

Well, that's good news, so far. And so far no seizures. I hope he continues this way. This must be so hard for all of you. Prayers and rays coming your way.
