Well Toby's seizures have been getting worse.  I have an appointment with the vet later today.  It was a rough weekend for him.  This morning I got up and decided to lift him off the big bed.  He freaked out and bit my nose pretty hard...  as some of you know we had his canines removed because of a biting problem a few years ago.  So it could have been much worse.  Still it broke the skin in about four places and it's pretty swollen.  Poor little guy...I am sure he had absolutely no idea of what he was doing.  I am just really worried about him and will feel much better when I know what is going on with him.  So any rays that anyone has to spare would be much appreciated!

I am so sorry to hear that Toby is having the seizures.  They are horrible, I;ve been there with Harry.
How's your nose tonight?

TerriL

Thanks everyone....I appreciate your kind words and thoughts for the Toby-Man.   We are going to see the neurologist on friday.  Dr. M. thinks that this looks more and more like an epileptic sort of thing.  I am hoping we can get him on the meds he needs and that these "seizures" will stop.  Last night he was a mess.  Pacing and butterfly catching and running into walls.  All typical symptoms for him but they went on MUCH longer than usual.  His heart races and he just looks frightened.  Poor baby.  When he did finally settle in, with the help of the benedryl he cuddled in next to me and slept right through the night.  I'll let you all know how he does on friday.
As for the nose...Keith is calling me Rocky...if that gives you an idea.   :doah: Still swollen with four little toothmarks.  It has now started to bruise which is always lovely.  Ah well, this to shall pass!

Hope your nose is better have you tried a ice pack & the neosporin with the pain medication in it works great. Have you thought of giving Toby some Rescue Remedy just made from flowers suppose to help relieve stress??? Hope Toby will do better soon seizures are terrifying more so for the people than the dogs I think.Dogs have a tendency to incorporate things into their lives I think, more so than us humans.Hope a pill will do the trick for Toby and he will be seizure free soon.
