It is with great sadness that I come here to let any of the old timers know that Maria (of Maria and Beasties from the old board) lost her brother Christmas morning at 44 years old to a massive heart attack. I come here asking for prayers , vibes, rayz (whichever works for you) for the family. Joe leaves a loving wife, two young children, many close family members and numeous good friends.  Joe was Maria's closest sibling. Maria has experienced much loss in the past few years and always clings even closer to her faith and her God.

Rest in Peace Joe.

I have asked God to add my prayers to the comfort that HE gives them, and to embrace them with His and our love.

Amy, how kind of you to keep us informed of our friends.  Maria is such a dear one and it hurts me so much that she's had to endure yet another blow.  Please let her know that she is definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

We miss YOU, too.  How's Owee-O doing/

OH no...I just don't believe this! How so many horrendous things can happen to such a wonderful, nice, giving person is beyond me. He was so young...that is unreal. Poor Maria. Thanks for letting us know Amy. I will certainly be keeping her and her family in my prayers too.

How are you and Owee-Oh?? We miss you!

Good Lord, not another tragic loss way before their time.  Thanks so much, Amy, for letting us know.  Poor Maria has had more than her fair share of grief these past few years.  I will be sure to send her a note.
(DD, I know you can especially relate to this loss)
