Santa Hat Day

Today was "Santa Hat Day" at the school where I teach with Julia (Brekke's mom) and as with every spirit day, Julia set the bar.  Julia arrived at school this morning with Brekke cradled in her arm, wearing a Santa hat that matched her mom's.  I was totally jealous!  Brekke stayed calm, cool and collected around everyone she encountered.  I must say, two hundred and forty second graders after a visit from Santa Claus is pretty hard for most to remain calm, cool and collected.  I had to run over to Julia's room to snap a few pitcures.  I hope you enjoy!

LOL! All of a sudden, she's not talking!  Brekke is not even waving her left forepaw in admission - says it'll wreck her chances of goodies, since she saw Santa this morning, and he saw her tee shirt!

Thank you for taking and posting the pictures....Julia and Brekke both look so adorable!!!  My two would not have done well around so many young children....These are great!!!

There is absolutely NO WAY Frida would have made it with all of those kids.  Julia knows that my Frida is not the most social girl in the world and there would have been some "yipe, yipe, yipe" from her.  Brekke was a good girl all day long getting lots of pets from kids and teachers.  I will say, she does have a problem holding her licker.  I am not saying that she has a licker problem...but I think you know what I mean.

Brenda, thanks for taking the pics and sharing with us. These are great! Julia and Brekke...you girls look wonderful! I love Brekke's T-shirt. We need a recent picture of Mocha. I'd like to see how she grew up. Does she look like her Aunt Brekke?

Hmmm - I 'll have to get a few new snaps of Mocha.  She has way more hair than Brekke - she's a fluffy all-over, and not just a fluffy butt!  (Btw - it is Frida Kahlo's mom [the black & tan], Rebecca, next door to me at school, who took these.  Brenda is at a different school about 40 miles away.)

OMG these are great pics!! I love #2 you are right Brekke and Hallie are both sportin' the same hat style. LOL. You look great Julia and have the cutest little girl... Yes, Brenda thank you SO much for posting these for us. (Would love to hear from you and Mocha more often!  ) We'd also love to see some pics of Mocha and Brekke!
