She is SO adorable!!!  She'll grow up to be a very beautiful long-hair.  I've owned three black and tan smoothie boys, one wheaton wire hair boy, one wild boar wire hair boy and one silver dapple smoothie girl.  Never a long-hair, but would sure love to.  My doxie adopting days aren't over yet!  Would also like to adopt a standard, they are so regal looking.

I don't think there ever was a cuter puppy than this!!!!
that must be what Hallie looked like at that age. Cali has the same big, clear tan markings!! She is going to have a beautiful luxurious coat! You can tell already....all those curls  on her ears and long hair already. I can't wait to see what she looks like grown up. Not to hurry things along though! The puppy months go by way too quickly as it is! She is an absoulute doll Mary. And it sounds like she has just as sweet of a temperament to go with it. Please keep posting pictures of her for us so we can watch her grow! How much did her parents weigh? Wondering how big she is supposed to get...she is PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!

THANK YOU Everyone and I hope she turns out 1/2 as GORGEOUS as Hallie  !!! Cali is 100% as sweet as she looks. My entire family agrees she is the snugglyiest puppy we have EVER met! Yes, Brandee, our Golden, and Cali do play. Brandee is getting better and better at being careful!!! Cali uses Brandee's scruff as a tug toy-it's too cute. Yes Dee Dee, Cali is our very first Doxie-I know you asked in another thread and hope you read this. Cali is EXACTLY what I was looking for in my new Doxie pup-temperment, colors, hair...everything and then some!!! She ROCKS!!!  :urock: CALI!

Very cute puppy did not know they had such curly ears Patches was 16 weeks when i got her so did not get to see the cute,cute stage will be looking foward to more pictures.

She is going to be fun to watch grow and I'm not surprised she is as sweet as she looks! Before Hallie, I had a wonderful 150 lb Great Dane and my sweet 24 lb longhair girl, Jessie, who got along great. Fred was so gentle with her. Being older and wiser now, I would not set out to get a pair that different in size but I was lucky it worked out. So I'm sure it will be fine with your golden and Cali too!

I do love those curly ears. As for mischief stories, it is true we love them hear. Just read all the tales Porky (doxielady) has told on himself. He usually keeps us laughing. Then we have Karen's herd that is always up to something. And that is just the beginning...

Thank you everyone!!! I simply do  her to death! Not too much trouble...YET...unless, you count chewing through 2 sets of Christmas lights on our tree?! I TRY not to mention any mischief she gets into, because I usually feel it's Mama's fault!!!  :verdict: Her potty-poopy-training has been getting SO much better...she barks in my face in the morning-after a kiss, of course  .  Like a lot of you advised, just make her stay outside until she DOES IT!!! It worked!!! Oh yeah-and Ingrid and Cali could be twins!!! I look into Cali's eyes and nearly cry....between the  I see and her beauty, I am SO greatful for her. She has mended part of my heart thus far. (long story) Again-thank you to all-I love seeing pics...pics...pics!!! So-I'll share if you all do! Have a Great Holiday!
