I hear ya, Leslie! My company provides overhead music for businesses and we've been listening to Christmas music since October! ARGH! I can't even stand it anymore. And everywhere I go, it's playing. I'm going out of my mind.

I did  a small sample of three songs and the average number of times "Christmas" is mentioned in a song is 5.5 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  Each song.

3 minutes and 15 seconds average each song.   That's 152 songs in eight hours shift. That's 836 times they say the word an eight hour shift.

There are 72 hours 59 minutes to go until the end of next week.

7,524 mentions of the word Christmas ON THE RADIO AND NOT COUINTING MY elvish co-workers until the end of the work day 12/21/07
Shakespeare : "To thine own self be true."
Popeye:  "I yam wot I yam."

I hear you, and I'm a church organist to boot.  Still, I only "hear" the songs on Sunday, or when I'm practicing.

My company is big enough to have a choir, and they've been "practicing" for their Christmas concert in one of my conference rooms over the lunch hour.  At least your music is semi-professionally done.
Luke Skywalker:  "I, I don't believe it!"  Yoda:  "That is why you fail."
