Please say an extra prayer for my sister who just found out she has breast cancer.  They found a lump, and its small, they think they caught it early.  She's been through all the second opinions, MRIs and biopsies.  She has some good doctors and they will decide on the best course of action soon.  She has a good attitude.

Valerie

I am so sorry.  I will definately say a  prayer for her.
It sounds positive that they caught it early.  And a good attitude makes such a difference in with recover, I believe.

I had a great aunt that got it twice and survived it both times.   Catching it early usually makes it very treatable.     Sending rays to your sister.

Its Joanie (Carol's twin).  She also has MS, but you'd never know it, she takes her shots and medication and doesn't talk about it or complain about it.

Oh no Patty! It sounds very good that it was caught so early but the C word is always scary nonetheless. I hope the treatment will be as minimal as possible I'm glad she has a good attitude. Will keep you all in my prayers.

Patty,

I am sending rays and prayers to your sister and you.  Wow, that's tough.  But she has a strong support system in her family.  I didn't know that you had twin sisters.  Being a twin myself, I can only imagine how both of them are dealing with this.  Are they close?  If they are, I'm sure they're leaning on each other.  Prayers to all of you.

Hi Beth, yes I have 4 sisters and two of them are twins.  They are very close, they tell each other all the important stuff before they tell the rest of the family.  They are 50 years old, 2.5 years younger than me.   Is your twin a boy or a girl?

I am so sorry to hear this news Patty.  Thank goodness that they caught this early.  Please let us know how she is doing...I'll be praying for her and your whole family!

Patty,

I have a twin sister.  We are very close, even though she lives in Chicago, IL and I live in Columbus, OH.  It's very hard being so far apart.  But we try and visit as much as we can and we talk on the phone and email.  When I was pregnant with Lara, she was my coach since DH was in Iraq.  She was also with me every step of the way when I had to have an amniocentesis done because the doctor was certain that Lara had a genetic defect.  I don't know what I would have done if my sister wouldn't have been there for me.
