Thanks everyone for all your healing rays and prayers.  They have worked miracles for my Daisy.  She's doing so much better.  I even got my first kiss last night in over a week.  She has only been wincing a bit when we pick her up to go outside from time to time but we have not had a howling episode since Friday.  Her vet made some adjustments to her meds and started her on previcox Friday.  I don't like her taking all these meds but nothing is permanent for now.  He just wants her to be comfortable again.  She's feeling so well she was even scratching to get out of her playpen yesterday.  She was mad when I told her "no."  Her vet said he wants her confined for a minimum of 4 - 6 weeks no matter how well she's feeling.  We have been alternating her between the playpen and her bed.  It's so much easier to pet and lover her when she's in her bed versus leaning over the playpen!!!  If I keep doing that I'm going to be the one with back problems.  Thanks again to all of you for sending rays Daisy's way.  They have finally reached her and she says "Thank you" too.

That is wonderful news! Our Penny went through back surgery and I know how the crating can go! But in the end it is all worth it when they get to feeling better. More rays headed her way for a speedy recovery!

The meds will help her get through - it is a must - BUT the big thing is they will make her think she is all better !!!!  You have to be strong and not let her do anything - that is the hardest part !!!  Keep us posted - still sending her healing rays !
