Schatzi had a Barkday on Monday and I totally let it slip by. I can't believe I didn't even think about it once Meg's birthday came around on Wednesday. Usually when Meg was away at school, Schatzi got the birthday attention at home but now that Meg is home, I think she got skipped. We were talking about it last week, but this week-poof! it was out of my thoughts completely. I know one reason is that her birthday is also the anniversary of the day we had our wreck two years ago and it is always a tough day. Even though we survived, I will always have the pain in my neck and shoulder to remind me. It still amazes me how something out of your control can change your whole life. But, I'm lucky to be alive and to still be able to work and I know at some point I will have surgery when I need to and will be able to continue working. It's just the inconvenience. And the stress.

Anyway, Happy Belated Barkday to Schatzi. She is 4 years old!!!

I'm sure she won't mind the extra belly rubs and attention from you.   Don't feel too bad.

I plan to go shopping for her tomorrow. She has had her share of treats today, that's for sure!

Well. . . :dontknow:

I WOULD love to help out, but, you see, I was in Auntie Karen's room, MINDING MY OWN BUSINESS, when she came in and found me destuff. . .I mean she found this teddy bear that had LEAPT OFF her shelves and started melting just like the wicked witch in "The Wizard of Oz" and now there seems to be a problem with me getting off grounding, er, leaving my room for the next couple of weeks.

Can you guys hang on 'til then?
