With Sadness -- Looie went to the Rainbow Bridge

With a heavy and breaking heart, I wanted to say thank you for the rays. At 5:00 pm, today, Looie went to the Rainbow Bridge. Looie took a turn for the worse and was in a lot of pain. Dr. Kevin called and Dave and I went back to the hospital and held Looie until he went to the Bridge with assistance. His eyes told us it was time. I can't write more right now with the tears flowing.

So, Lieutenant Laslo TynierbutMyty Spilker-Angel rest in peace - February, 2002 to October 3, 2007 - God-speed, Looie and we love you Looie-Angel!

Oh Dee I am so sorry. But you did give Looie a better life than what he had. I have a feeling that he and Sam are hooking up as we speak and taking charge of things. And Sargey we are sending you hugs.

Oh NO! Our hearts are absolutely breaking for you, Dave and Sargey.

I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that Looie's time with you, while far too short, were undoubtedly the happiest days of his life.

He's got some great company up there at Rainbow Bridge. Godspeed Looie.

Oh my God what a terrible thing! I am so sorry ot hear this. Dave, Dee, Sargey, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Looie was a great guy and I had always wanted to meet him. Poor little dude. I know you are all heartbroken. Please accept my deepest sympathies. What a shock.

I dont believe it. He was so young how could something like this happen?
I am so heartbroken along with you guys. I know you are in a world of pain. I am SO SORRY!!!!!
I am just sitting here shaking my head I just can't believe it, please post again when you can. I know you and Dave must think you are in the middle of a nightmare right now. Please know how many are out here crying along with you. I am so sad for Sarge too...

Oh my goodness - I had no idea Looie was poorly and I saw this before the other post about him needing rays! Sinus trouble kept me off the puter since this morning! I am so sorry for your loss, and know that you did as much as possible, and it was still Looie's time to cross that Rainbow Bridge and be with our beautiful puppers who have gone on before. We're sending a cyber-honorary 21-gun salute and full honors to your boy, and hugs to you, Dave, and Sargey.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I understand the sadness and heartbreak. Last year in May I lost my Heidi Ho who I was blessed with for 11 years. Let your other pupper give you comfort when he can, as Solly did for me. His love did help a bit.

I am so, so sorry. I read this late last night and couldn't type through the tears. It is always hard to lose one of our friends, and even harder to lose one so suddenly. I'll always remember the wonderful Sarge and Looie stories. Give Sarge some extra love today (which I'm sure you are doing already) and find comfort in knowing that Looie is watching over you from the Bridge and running around with all the others who were waiting on him there.

We didn´t even know he was ill because of the time difference here.

There are no words to describe my sadness for you, Dee and Dave! I'm so very sorry! Please remember that we are here for you. He was such a good boy and such a wonderful brother to Sarge. It is unbelievable how attached we get to dogs we've never met. I guess I'm feeling this loss more because I've met you and Dave and I know what nice people you are. I'm so sorry!

Thanks Kari. This brings back the day I lost Misty so suddenly. What a complete shock to lose Looie so suddenly as well. And like Delia said.....its amazing how we get so attached to dogs we never met. But here it is different, its like everyone's doxie is our own, and we truly feel the pain when one is lost.
