I went into work today like normal and shortly after arriving I was called into my boss' office.   Her eyes were red and puffy and she looked really upset!  She then informed me that one of our clients had died from cancer.  The lady was only diagnosed two days ago!!!   I am still in shock over it, I just can't believe it took her so fast.  She was one of my favorite clients so I'm really upset about it.   My poor boss heard about it from one of the other clients.  She said that she had to literally run to her office choking back her tears!   :comfort:  Poor thing, that would have been awful to hear the news that way.   Needless to say my co-workers and i had a good cry together before we left for home this evening.   It was just an awful, awful day.

My ex-husband's aunt was feeling poorly for several months and finally went to the doctor.  He ordered an exploratory operation.  They opened up her abdomen and found cancer everywhere.  There was nothing they could do.  She died less than a week later.  It was a shock to everyone.

Thanks to all of you for your support in this.  This woman found out she had cancer last Monday and the dr. said she had at least 4 weeks, maybe up to 4 months left to live.  They scheduled her for exploratory surgery to find out exactly how far the cancer had spread.  They started the surgery on Wednesday night and she just never woke up from it. Her funeral was yesterday and let me tell you, that church was packed!    This wasn't just a smal little country church either.   This woman was well loved.

The hardest part was that my husband and i are in charge of cleaning our church right now, so I had to clean sunday night for her funeral.  I cried a lot.  It was really hard, but I knew I was doing it for someone special.
