Man..work was sure a nightmare today!!  We were swamped!!!   The ladies were all grouchy and rude, etc... Looking on the bright side, I had a smiling doxie waiting for me when i got home.

And, hey I've worked this job for 4 months now and this is my first and only bad day so far.  Can't complain about that.  I'll take the grouchy ladies in stride, especially if it only happens every four months!!   You wouldn't believe the thins that made people mad today.     Some of them truly acted like two year olds with their "fit" throwing and temper tantrums.   But, like I said, if it's only happened once in four months, I'm pretty darn lucky!!

Porky was so good when I got home, he could sense i was stressed out, so he went running to the bedroom.  i wondered what he was doing and then he comes running out with my slippers in his mouth.  Then he ran back into the bedroom and brought me a book!!  Smart little guy, he knows i love to take a relaxing bath with a favorite book when i'm stressed out.  I tell ya it was the cutest thing watching him try to drag that book.   :2funny:

Sorry 'bout your bad day.  Sometimes work really is yucky.  What are you doing these days?  Didn't you work for a Vet?  Or am I thinking of someone else? :idiot:

You work for a bookstore don't you?  Or am I confused?

Public service jobs can be very trying at times.  I am so glad I went from retail to library work, in a non-public contact position at that!  When I worked retail there were times I would cry in the car on the way home.  A couple weeks ago, I had my first bad day at work in years.  Since I take a commuter train to and from work, I had to wait till I got home to cry.  Sucked.

To answer your questions I am a fitness trainer at a women's fitness center.  Normally i love my job, but the last two days have been awful!  Grouchy grouchy ladies.. maybe its the weather??   :dontknow:

I did work at a bookstore but quit because the new management were awful. they consistently harrassed a co-worker of mine about her weight. And they refused to give me a raise, yet they wanted me to take on extra responsibilities and do work from home (off the clock)  UM...NO WAY!!!   I have never worked for a vet.
