I am very thankful for all of the kind words, prayers, and rays that many of you have sent.  I love this board....you all are truly priceless.  I didn't get a call from the surgeon until 10pm last night.... so it was a rough day spent in tears but it was good to read the posts.  Franky made it through the very complicated surgery and he was stable enough that they sent him home this afternoon.  Thankfully they were able to get all of the stones and there were no complications from the spleen removal.  They sent the stones home as a "souvenir"..... my gosh some of them are as big as pearls... I never saw anything like it.  He doesn't have bladder control at this time, but there is hope for improvement.  I have to give some of his meds by injection and I cry but he just looks at me like "whatever, Mom".  The surgeon said that Franky's spleen looked normal to the naked eye...so great!  We have to wait for the pathology report, but remain hopeful that theres no cancer there.  The next big hurdle is the healing process because he is immune suppressed.
Again, thank you so much for your support.  Few if anyone in our lives understands what this is like for us.  Franky has been through so much but we never give up hope and his spirit is so strong!
