Why am I a good girl?  Cuz I didn't wet on my bed for TWO days in a wow.  Mommy sez dat is a bewwy good girl.  Wooohoooo for me, da Maddewoo!

Mommy here.  I've had a dickens of a time with Madderoo peeing in her bed.  I don't get it.  Is she lazy or what?  I lay out a towel for her to do her day business, but she'd rather pee on her bed.  Every night was wash night.  Finally a breakthrough.  NO PEE in TWO whole days.  Hmmmmm.  Why the change?  Could it be that I've been looking her in the eye and telling her "NO PEE ON THE BED"?  I don't get it but she seems to be listening.  Let's see how tomorrow goes.  I'll take anything I can get.  Woohooo for The Madderoo!

Yeah for little Doe Eyes!!!

Are you sure she does it on purpose or could it be spay incontinence? Could she just be leaking and not realize it?

Either way, good girl for 2 dry days in a row!  :thumb:

What a good girl Maddie is.  I don't know why she would have been going potty in her bed.  How old is she now?  It could be a number of things.  Could she be rebeling for some reason?  Poor little squeaky girl...

By golly, I think you've got it, Patty!   Today, we had a bit of a setback but it was purely my fault and purely expected.  Since I started working full time, I insisted we get our house cleaned every 3 weeks.  This was THE day.  That meant poor Roo was penned up all day because I don't come home for lunch on cleaning day.  I just wish she'd pee on the towel provided and NOT in her bed.  I'm thinking of trying puppy pads.  Maybe she'd be attracted to THEM more than a plain old bath towel.

Sandi, I would definitely give the puppy training pads a try.  They are scented to attract the dog to the spot.  You should be able to train her in no time, and then you can get by with using newspaper or one of those washable pee pads.  Sometimes a dog won't go on certain surfaces.  Maddie may not like the towel.   :meme:  She's trying to tell you something, I think.   :meme:  Have you tried newspaper?  Well, get some pee pads, that might help.  I use the washable pads with much success.  Good luck!

Sandi, if Maddie seems to like the pee pads, you can get great deals on them from Ebay!!!  Boxes with about 300 or 350 in them...I have ordered them for Zoe and Winnie from Ebay and they work just as well as the expensive ones in the stores.  I keep the pee pads by the back kitchen door and they come in sooooo handy.
