So mischievious, but soooo adorable....

This morning Schatzi and I were still in bed-I was reading and she was snoozing on a pillow beside me. Meg was up and getting ready for work. She had been downstairs and as she came past my room said "Someone has been in the trash." (I had made the mistake of not getting it out of some little pupper's reach). Schatzi immediately looked at me like "You aren't going to believe HER are you?" and then proceeded to roll over for the belly to be rubbed and try looking cute. Of course that was a little hard to ignore, but then I got the L@@K!!  I found myself chuckling several times throughout the day over her little routine.
This evening, Meg and I had fresh shrimp for supper. We were actually in my room eating while watching a movie (Randy is at the fire department). Meg decided to share a couple of bites with Molly, which apparently Schatzi had been watching. Well, we had a bowl of cocktail sauce between us and I have a small piece of shrimp in hand and go to dip it in the sauce, but suddenly it is GONE! Schatzi must have thought I was giving that piece to her since Meg had given hers to Molly and EVERYONE knows that Schatzi gets whatever Molly gets! As mad as I wanted to be at her, I couldn't be because she did it so smoothly and Meg and I were laughing too hard anyway. Life is never ever dull around here with these two around, but I'm guaranteed to always have something to think back on and laugh about!

LOL I Love it Teresa! They are so funny...becuase they don't know they are being funny.
Same thing happened to me once with my Dad's little doxie Jody and a hot dog I was roasting (Not the dachshund variety of hot dog!!) and was moving it from the fire to the bun...somehow in transit it ended up in a doxie belly!

Isn't it funny how instinctively (sp?) they know how to try and make it right?   "Of course mom will forget about the mess..... when she sees how cute I am !"
