Seems like very few people understand the way I love my dogs.  After my divocrce 7 years ago, I bought a town house and after 4 months the board of trustees commanded me to "get rid of 2 dogs, as only 2 dogs are allowed per resident".  So I showed them the finger and sold the property and moved away with all 4 my dogs.  No-one that I know, would have done that!  People thought I was soo stupid, a dog is just a dog - to go through all tat trouble and loosing money over DOGS???  People just don't understand.   My home is equipped for them - ramps to the couch and bed, a snug nest in the hallway for daytimes when I'm at work with music playing, I just love them so much and I'm responsible for their well-being.  Their little warm bodies next to me in bed, their comforting licks and snuggles.  I mean, nothing is better than that!

I also don't have human kids, don't want any, and my little ones are my family.   They are definately not lesser beings, we're just diffirent from one another.  After all, God created us humans and land animals on the same day!!  People can learn a lot from animals.  If people can just love their animals the way we do on this board - the world will be a much better place!
