My Job Stinks Right Now (Rant alert!!)

I know every company wishes they had our problem, but this is getting ridiculous!!!  I have to close two conference rooms and plunk desks down to accommodate all the new hires we are getting, and conference rooms are scarce enough. :cussing:

Even so, that won't be enough.  We have 107 people in our area of the company alone, and we have 25 of what are called employee requisitions published.  Total capacity of our area is 110 people.  Even with the conference rooms, I will still be about 15 short.  There is no room for us to grow and other engineering departments are in worse shape than us.

They are building a new building, but it won't be ready until July of 2008.  So, I have to hope we don't hire all 27 people before July, 2008.  No wonder every Administrative Assistant here has some sort of health problem, everything from cancer to high blood pressure, to allergic reactions.  We are all close to  :puke: over this situation.  We knew this was coming months ago, but no one in management wanted to listen.  Now, of course, it's up to us Admins to figure out how to scratch out extra office space.  Not to mention that I'm one Administrative Assistant to 132 engineers, managers, and support staff :BangHead:
