Well, the last time i heard from the breeder was about 3 weeks ago and she had finally responded to my e-mail. She had said that she would give the paperwork once he is neutered and that she would give me copies of the parents pedigrees once she got the registration back on Bandit's dad. Hello!! I think i would have already at least had the father registered by now! Anyway, i responded back to let her know that whatever we can get accomplished would be fine and to e-mail me back to let me know that she got the e-mail. Well, it didn't get returned and she still hasn't e-mailed me back since Monday. URRRRG! I think i am just going to let it go. I just can't keep stressing about it, but this is a lesson learned, trust me! He is a healthy pup and that's all that matters.

Also, i had read the info on here about breeding the  dapples together and the health problems they can have and guess what???? I pulled her web-site up and she has her new puppies on there and two of them are double dapples!! That shouldn't suprise me, huh? They even look like they could be blind or have problems. Tell me what you think. Her wed-site is www.ilovedachshunds.com. Click on available puppies.

There does come a time when you do just have to let it go.  There have been enough red flags.  I do feel sorry for the puppies in her care(?).  It has almost turned into a rescue situation.

I'm with Patty - you probably should let it go.  Did you notice she has a "silky wire" listed, as if it's a 4th coat?   I just wanted to cry for those double dapple babies.

Looks like just another back yard breeder just breeding to make monies sorry but red flag pops up when you see that many mommies & daddies in my book.Looks like she does no health testing or showing in conformation or any other showing.Good breeders try to improve the breed to the breed standard.Sorry hope you r pup will be healthy,& live a nice long life.

Have no room to talk Patches came from a back yard breeder too. but I knew it ahead of time so was not expecting allot no papers on her figured if I wanted to show her in obedience I can get a LP number from AKC.

Yeah, right, a fourth coat, and I'm the queen of England!

Seriously, when I first say that "silky wire" i thought it was a different breed, like a Lhasa puppy or who knows what.

This is a web site I would run from.
