Penny's webcam

What should i be seeing when Penny's webcam is up? I did get it to come up but it is just a still picture. I think i see her laying in her doghouse? How does the webcam work?

Basically you can move it up and down and side to side. Depending on your connection it may be slow at times. It is mounted in our backyard so that we can keep an eye on Penny while we are at work. She is at her grandma's today for doggie day care so there isn't much to see at the moment other than our empty backyard  .

So you keep her outside while you are at work? Does she mind being outside? Does it get too hot for her? That would be cool to have a webcam to watch our babies when we are at work! Where do you get them? Are they expensive?

Yep - she stays outside while we are at work unless it is raining. She doesn't seem to mind at all. She has her dog house and a patio cover and always has shade. In the winter she actually has a heating pad in her house (it is made for dogs for outside). It is really nice to have the webcam - we got it after she had her surgery and was having other health problems so we could keep an eye on her. They can get really expensive depending on what kind you get...if it can zoom...if it has other features. Ours is a middle of the road camera that has some features but can't zoom...
