Da Best Day Ever!

Cookie here, trying to type with my little arms...

Today is da best so far!  For some reason, Mama is home today. She called it a holiday, whatever that means.  :thinik: Anyway, she made breakfast that smelled so good- i saw eggs, bacon, cheese!  :crazyeyes:  too much good stuff to control myself.  Mama actually gave me BACON!!!!!!!  holy moly, i got da bacon!!!!!!1    I  bacon so much!!!  Then it got better.... I got pineapple!!!!  I  pineapple.  don't what it is , but mama eats it so its got to be good- and I like everything she eats.   
Now I get to take my post breakfast nap with my mama, not alone.  I love it when she's home and I can sit next to her and nap.  WOnder what she's eating for lunch, and if I'll get any?   :scratch:

Hey Cookie, btw you have the BEST name, dis is Maddie.  My mommy and papa are home wiff me today too.  And guess what?  I got a little bit of egg and bacon, too!  Yum yum!  I'm wiff you, what ebber mommy likes, I like....cept muchrooms and maders.  I love it when mommy eats blueberries and cherries.  Dey are deeeeeelishus.  I have been spending a lot of da day helping mommy and papa to welax by sitting on them.  Awound here, dat is called a "situation."  Dat means when I'm sitting on either mommy or papa's lap, da udder person has to fetch things for the sitter because DEY have a situation....ME!   It is a vewwy fun game.

Hey Cookie, Me and Molly have had Mamma home since Tuesday of last week!!! She gets to be home until Monday. She says that's how it is when her boss is off-she is off along with him. She hasn't even been out running errands all the time and has had lots of snuggle time for me! Daddy has been home some too, so life is GOOD!!

I work as a dental hygienist and my boss is out of town this week and has been since last Thursday. In S.C., the hygienists can work without the dentist in the office, but it gets really complicated since we have to let the patients know beforehand that he won't be there, and be pretty selective about who we schedule. The law was just changed a couple of years ago and is okay for an occasional day here or there, but not a whole week or more. The only downside is I end up using vacation hours for a time when I'm not planning on doing anything. Usually he takes his vacations in May or the fall, though, so I can't complain this year. I'm just not one for going anywhere in the middle of the summer if I don't have too! That is why Schatzi and Molly get all the attention, instead!
