HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEEKI - THREE YEARS OLD

Neeki is three years old today. This is a doxie board but all of you were so supportive and happy for Dan and me as we went thru Sassy's 11 month gestation and the birth of Domenica "Neeki" three years ago. Thank you for sharing our happiness.

We have not measured her recently. Her training will begin soon, now that our area has dried out. She's corral-sour, so she will begin eating her evening grain just outside the corral, to make it a good thing to be outside the corral. I will gradually feed her further and further away. We have a light weight saddle we'll start putting on her as well. We should have been doing this a lot sooner, but life has been getting in the way, we spread ourselves too thin sometimes.

Guess I missed this one...

Happy late Birthday Neeki!!!! She is beautiful Patty.... We just bought a APHA 1 1/2 year old girl in September, and I can't believe how she is growing.... Here are a couple of pics of our Tiny Dancer.... The first one was the day we got her (they told us she had been broke to lead, but wasn't true... Apparently she had never been worked with.... UGH!!) The second is about 1 1/2 months after we got her, and she had been worked with... Our youngest was the first to ever get on her, because she is sooo danged light she probably never even felt her on her back... lol She is definately making progress though, thank goodness.... Can't wait to watch the hubby break her, this oughta be a treat, and I will have camcorder in hand...

She's beautiful!!! I'm not looking forward to training Neeki for riding, she is a pistol. I might hire some professional help.
