Held hostage by a t-bone!

So I grilled up a couple of t-bone steaks last night and being the nice dachsie mama that I am, I gave the bones to Lucy and Berman.  How was I to know that 4 HOURS LATER, Berman would still be gnawing on that STUPID bone!  :BangHead:  Lucy had given up after about 2 hours in.  :sleepy2:  I was sooooo tired and just wanted to go to sleep, but Berman would not drop the bone or let me have it.  I didn't want to go to sleep with him still chewing on it because I thought he'd choke!  ARGH!  So I stayed up till he evently wore out.  Then, when he was nice and asleep, I stole the last of the bone and threw it in the trash!  Uhm, next time, I think I'll give them 1/2 of a bone!  :thumb:

LOL!! You poor thing! We bought Penny one of the hide-a-squirrels and she is obsessed with it. We went out Saturday night and when we got home we wanted to go to bed but she wanted to play with it and if we took it away she would just freak out!!  :verdict:

Fun!  Was she trying to momma all 3 of the squirrells like Berman?  Poor guy, he just had to many babies on his hands!

Yep!! It was so funny! She had to have all three of them out of the stump and then she would squeak each one and pay attention/clean each one. At one point she had them in a pile and was rolling in them As she was taking one out we would put one back in and it became a never ending cycle. Although she got tired of that and just took the stump away from me  !

LOL!  Been there! Toby likes to hide his bones, steal the others, and then locate HIS when it's time for sleep. 
He HATES to give it up!  I usually end up bribing him (bad dachsie mom that I am), with a bacon treat and grabbing the bone at the same time.  It usually works!
